movement & weed

Blending movement and weed is such a pleasurable experience. CBD is great for workout classes that are high intensity or if you have to do shit after. THC is amazing for low impact classes and when you can relax and maybe eat something wonderful. The reason why I prefer CBD for high intensity classes or if i have to head back to work is because I'm not getting the psychoactive high and I have an easier time controlling the dosage #microdosing4ever If I'm doing a calmer class or heading home after, I feel more comfortable with THC in case i get super stoned 🙃
i love blending the cannabis and fitness together because my state of mind allows me to focus inward- how are my muscles moving? which muscles am engaging? have I been favoring a side or particular muscles. my inner chatter stops, i become so present with myself. so sure i'm not sitting still, but im focusing on my breathing, on my movement, and i enter this meditative state. the tension in my shoulders release. and most importantly i stop comparing myself to others in the class because i'm so lost within/just feeling myself.
*bonus* when i microdose before class i have an easier time not paying attention the terrible music some instructors play
**extra bonus** have you ever mixed a few drops of essential oils (like jasmine, lavender, & grapefruit) and epson salt for the most amazing bath after a high workout sesh? NO?! well get to it! btw epson salt is great for anti-inflammation, just like CBD found in cannabis
