So a lot of the products pushed our way doesn't always have our or the planets best interest in mind. freaking capitalism

I've been exploring growing out my body hair, and have found what works for me, but when I do need a razor, the shit at pharmacies are an insult to us and our planet. after a deep dark hole about razors, I'm happy to say that I survived and I have info to share with you! throw out your shitty venus/schtick/dollar shave club and get yourself a safety (aka old school) razor. here's why:

1. SAVE UR MONEY šŸ¤‘. holy fuck disposable razors are so expensive. I bought a safety razor for $30 and a box of double edge safety razor blades for $10 (i tried buying direct, but amazon made the purchase easier ugh). This is going to literally last me my life time. The razor blades last SO many shaves, it does depend on how much shaving you do in a session. since mine is minimal, my razor blade lasts about 2-3 months. to increase the life of your blade you MUST dry the razor off and remove from your shower to keep it from rusting

2. SAVE UR PLANET šŸŒ . single blades can be collected and recycled together (you cant recycle one at a time because it's physically dangerous) some companies allow you to ship the blades to them and they're recycle/reuse. the amount of plastic on disposable razor heads AND handles makes me sad- THINK ABOUT THE TURTLES- and they don't recompose or recycle

3. SAY AU REVOIR TO RAZOR BURN šŸ‘‹šŸ¼. safety razor blades provide a crazy close shave. with only one blade, there's less skin irritation! so the whole multi blades giving you a close shave is actually a lie. having multiple blades going over the same batch of skin = irritation = razor burn

*BONUS* I shave wayyyyy less with the single razor blade because of how close the shave is. which is amazing because i'd rather spend as little time contouring my pubes as poss

What to lšŸ‘€k for
-long handle vs short handle. long handles are "better" for women since legs are farther away, and again pubes. the short handle is good for face shaving, but really either way you'll be good
-double edge safety blades allow you to use that razor more times before rinsing it off during your shave sesh. cuz like there's two blades, one on each side....

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
DO NOT use coconut oil to shave. it clogs ur razor which = razor burn. and don't spend your money on shaving cream. use an all natural bar of soap to lather up (I use a korean charcoal soap). be sure to moisturize after with coconut oil or a blend of oils!

In conclusion, if you're nervous about making the switch- DONT BE. the look of the razor is way more intimidating than reality. hit me up and i will guide and support you!
