🍜 High Low Bev Co- the owners mom is in town for 1 more week (hurry!) and she's slinging the best bowl of phở i've had in the city. she recently added a vegan bún bò huế to the menu. bún bò huế is usually made with beef, but this vegan take is SO good. and spicy. be sure to get some baked goods- the miso scone, pandan donut, sour cherry donut, choco ginger cookies to name a few

🛀 take a bath in the morning or in the middle of the day. issa vibe

💨 honestly my favorite bong ever, meet Mimi! Designed by Angela from Elevate Jane, a beautifully curated smoke shop, this bong DOES IT. the base is small, so i can actually hold it. not too tall. def not too short (no bong water bubbling up). it's percolated. surprisingly easy to clean. its gorgeous and sleek. its my all time fav bong i've ever owned.

🎧 keep that same energy with Maryam Hasnaa on The Friend Zone podcast. Maryam touches on minding your business, responding vs reacting, believing in deserving the life you want to life. (you can skip the first 30 min, its a long podcast)

🥬 chef collective. the sheep feta cheese is UNREAL. highly recommend ordering some cheese, dried meats, seasonal produce delivered to your door as a fun treat. if you go thru olive oil quickly they have an amazing 5 liter bottle- its essential for my pantry (20% discount for you and for me when using this link!)

📚 adult children of emotionally immature parents by Lindsay Gibson. i read this book after visiting my parents at the end of summer. i wish i read it before the visit. either way, it provided a lot of insight and closure. key takeaway- mind your business. your parents opinions about you is for them, not you!

💆🏻‍♀️facial rejuvenation workshop. it's like foam rolling, but for your face muscles. which i had never really thought about, until i took this class with Walda. not only do you learn how to cup and gua sha, but you learn about the anatomy of the face and its connections to the rest of the body. (gua sha is really nice when i feel a headache/migraine coming on - moves blood and stress around. also my skin glows after)
