we are still in the depths of winter - even tho its been strangely not terrible. be sure to TAKE CARE OF YA IMMUNE SYSTEM. we all have our witchy ways to take care of ourselves. and you should srsly do it rn.
my favorite go to's:
fresh ginger tea 🍵 every night before bed- immune maintenance
chopped up raw garlic 🧄 (place in a spoon, get in mouth, drink water to swallow so you don't need to chew. no chewing = no/less garlic breath) - i do this when I have aches, or my sinuses have all of sudden become clogged. getting garlic in a the first signs of sickness is essential! its antibacterial and will kill all those unwanted germs
hot lemon 🍋 water with garlic, ginger, cayenne, honey, acv. this is when im sick
salt water gargling 💦. multiple times a day for like 5-10min. great when you feel the beginnings of a swollen gland
golden milk tea 🌕 when i have aches, lower energy, seasonal depression. its so yummy! I toast 2 tsp cinnamon (I love cinnamon), 1 tbsp turmeric (anti-inflammatory), and black pepper (allows the human body to digest the turmeric) at the bottom of a pot for 5 min. add can of coconut milk (full fat), can of water, tbsp of honey (antibacterial). once its simmering get ur immersion blender or transfer liquids to blender and blend! *turmeric stains so be careful with ur clothes. and if ur blender stains let it sit in sunlight, it removes the stain!
