🤔WHY MICRODOSE MUSHROOMS?
there are so many reasons to microdose psilocybin. microdoses can assist with attention span and focus, initiate connection between you and other people and nature, increase awareness (internally and externally), heighten creativity, and promote neuroplasticity growth [creating new neural pathways can assist with depression or ptsd]
📆SCHEDULE
there are many ways to go about microdosing psilocybin- but number one rule: do not ingest every day
the most popular schedule is called the Fadiman, created by James Fadiman, where you microdose one day and take two days off. this is great when you are going through the thick of things - especially depression and ptsd
you can also microdose weekly, biweekly, monthly, or no schedule- as needed. LISTEN TO YOURSELF! you can microdose once every three days for two weeks and then switch to every other month. pay attention to your needs.
*don't mix alcohol or caffeine with psilocybin. if you're here to do the work - you will need to play with your caffeine and alcohol consumption- both impact psilocybin negatively. if you are specifically interested in using psilocybin as an alternative to antidepressants - well alcohol is a depressant so lets keep that in mind. and if you had a negative reaction to this comment - well that is something you should totally explore! there was a point in my life where i would have scoffed at the idea of decreasing alcohol, and here i am not wanting to drink. (literally down to talk about this topic whenever and forever!)
AM vs PM? microdoses of psilocybin are activating and will not make you sleepy - morning or daytime is recommended but again- listen to you and what your needs are!
